In KF2 the guns feel absolutely incredible, the animations for guns are all rendered in 180 FPS, and in general I think this game has the best shooting "feel" of any game I've ever played, so I feel that adding weapons actually takes a ton of work on Tripwire's part, as opposed to other games wherwe it's just reskins. If you have to work on stuff just to release something with 0 animation and effort, better to just avoid that. If its still not there, congrats, you encountered infamous KF related bug. Solution 2 is to disqualify any runs featuring dlc weapons.
I guess the reason I would expect a weapon pack to cost money is because the guns and gunplay in Killing Floor has always been the star of the show. Your idea can easily just be another free updated funded by beautiful cosmetics. Each character build isnt necessarily the same as.
